Each emotion, which has not been expressed when experienced, is manifested as the emotional charge later. It tears us from within, and ultimately leads to all sorts of mental and physical illnesses. Eating disorder is only one of them (swallowing of food, that is, overeating can be linked to swallowing of emotions, and if emotional charge is very strong, one will need more and more food in order to swallow and suppress the emotions from manifesting on conscious level).
